Hey Everyone!
Welcome to Blue Owl Treats! I am Heather, an outdoorsy 29 year old living and working in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
First two things you should know about me: I love to make baked goods and crafty gifts that don’t really have any purpose whatsoever, except to be beautiful, soulful and delectable in nature. I also love to take photos of my creations since I guess it’s my way of memorializing it all. Perfect excuse to have a blog, right? Blue Owl Treats is mostly a baking blog, but every now and then I post an odd little crafty thing for you to enjoy!
On rainy Vancouver days one of my favourite things to do is to curl up with a cookbook and plan future baking projects. Since I was a little girl, baking has filled me with wonder and joy. I guess the thought of creating something beautiful from a handful of simple ingredients has never ceased to amaze me. I find myself using any excuse to get out my supplies and craft together something lovely to share, surprise and enjoy with those special people in my life.
